India and China Signed 9 MoUs Including the Border Defence Cooperation Agreement

India and China signed 9 MoUs/agreements including the Border Defence Cooperation Agreement (BDCA) to maintain peace and tranquility on the Line of Actual Control, on 23 October 2013 during the official visit of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to China.


List of Agreements/MoUs signed between India and China during PM’s Official Visit to China
1. India and china officialy resumed trade in 1978.
2. India and china signed as Most Favoured Nation in 1984.
3. Trade Deficit between India and china by sept 2013 at $24,7 bn and by 2012 $28 bn.
4. Overall bilateral trade between India and China by sept 2013 $48.5 bn by 2012 $66 bn and target by 2015 $100 bn.
