Technical committee formed by RBI

With the intention to increase the mobile banking services, Reserve Bank of India has formed a technical committee. This committee will examine the feasibility of encrypted SMS based fund transfer. Main aim is to study the challenges that are facing by the banks in mobile banking. Solutions will be provided to increase the mobile applications. This committee is headed by B. Sambamurthy, Director, and Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology.
