Michael Mullins has assumed the position of US Consul General in Hyderabad.
Prior to the present assignment, he served as Minister Counselor for Management Affairs at the US Embassy in New Delhi, according to a press release issued by the US Consulate General here.
A career member of the Senior Foreign Service with the rank of Minister Counselor, Mr. Mullins, who is from New Hampshire, began his foreign service in 1989 and served in El Salvador, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Indonesia.
