First British astronaut retires


Colin Michael Foale, the first British astronaut to perform space walk, retired from NASA during the second week of August 2013. He belongs to 1987 NASA Group. Born on 6th January 1957, Foale had a record in his name by spending 374 days 11 hours and 19 minutes in space. In July 2000, he received honorary degree from Lincolnshire and Humberside University.
