DHRUVA-3, a high performance computing system developed by Indian defence scientists will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State for Defence Jitendra Singh on 26.8.2013 to mark 25 years of RCI.
The Minster will also inaugurate the silver jubilee celebrations of the Research Centre Imarat (RCI), the premier missile development laboratory in Hyderabad along with former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan.
DHRUVA-3, developed by ANURAG, one of the labs under the Defence Research and Development Organisation, will be useful in computational fluid dynamics design for aircraft and air-borne systems, simulation of complex systems and stress analysis of materials.
ANURAG is involved in the design and development of indigenised systems and products to solve and compute complex mission related applications.
