Pradeep Kumar, Central Vigilance Commissioner inaugurated the Delhi NCR chapter of Vigilance Study Circle in New Delhi on 27 August 2013. The Central Vigilance Commissioner asked the organisations as well as the institutions working in this vigilance sector to collaborate with like-minded people and organisations for strengthening of vigilance administration.
It is important to note that accountability Institutions like CAG and CVC play an important role in containing corruption in the administration. For the purpose of strengthening the Vigilance Administration across government and to combat corruption more effectively, the idea of Vigilance Study Circle was introduced.
