Indian Weightlifting Federation president Birendra Prasad Baishya has been appointed as the chairman of the Ethics Commission of the International Weightlifting Federation in the executive board meeting of the world body in Beijing.
Baishya, also a member of Parliament and senior member of Indian Olympic Association Executive Council, will head the IWF Ethics Commission for a four-year term.
