Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will on Monday inaugurate an international conference on Evolving Common Strategies to Combat Corruption and Crime, organised by the CBI to mark its formation’s golden jubilee.
“The conference will have delegates from the anti-corruption bureaux of the states, other countries and international organisations,” said CBI spokesperson Kanchan Prasad. The three-day conference aims at strengthening the anti-corruption mechanism in the country.
A special session on ‘Ethics and Integrity in Sports: Need for a Law and Role of CBI’ will be held on Tuesday as part of the conference.
